Borth Community Council 2017 Newsletters.
We have a vacancy on Borth Community Council for one Councillor. Please could you consider if you might like to join the Community council, or perhaps someone you know might be.
You may wish to find out more about this without committing to anything, Margaret Walker, our Clerk (cc'd here) and all the Councillors would be pleased to have a chat about the role. Personally I'd be more than happy to give you an insight as to what it’s like and what it might entail. If you'd like to discuss this - please email me and I can get back in contact with you.
Borth Community Council meets once a month (but not in August) on a Monday night. We work as a team and we all bring something different. You don't need to have any qualifications, just an interest and willingness to make a difference for the community, it is voluntary. You also won't be put on the spot or expected to know how a Community Council is run. Your insights and opinions are valuable to the Council. If your circumstances change when on the Community Council and you wish to withdraw - you can do so easily and at any time.
The attached image is a copy of the notice with further information and the closing date of 21st June 2017 for a letter of application to the Clerk. There are notices on the Borth Community website and in the noticeboards in Borth and Ynyslas.
Cllr. Jill Hulse
Chair, Borth Community Council
