Eve Smith lives and works in Borth, West Wales. Living by the sea provides plenty of inspiration for her paintings. Borth is an atmospheric place stretched along a narrow strip of land between an ancient bog, with a backdrop of mountains and the sea. It is windswept and weatherbeaten, ideal for light and colour.

Eve works mainly in oil and sometimes enhances the canvas with gold leaf. Her paintings are in collections in the UK and abroad and she has had work purchased for display in public buildings and also several murals for schools, cafes etc.
